Varsity Registration

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:

  • November 25, 2019

 

The mandatory winter registration meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 6 at 7:00-8:00 pm in the B-CC Cafeteria. Each athlete and at least one parent or guardian needs to attend.
 ​
The winter season runs from December 2, 2019 to approximately February 29, 2020.

Before you register, please read the Participation Agreement, Consent and Waiver of Liability.

FUNDRAISING OBLIGATION:

All athletes must participate in the holiday wreath and candle fundraising sale in November 2019. Participation means selling at least 20 products or submitting a buyout payment. New athletes who want to avoid a mandatory $350 buyout payment should register as early as possible to maximize their time to participate in the sale before it ends on November 20. 

 

To register for the Winter Season:

Complete the Online Registration Process. Click here, expand the section for "Teams & Groups", click "Join" for the appropriate squad (Varsity Boys or Girls) and follow instructions to register. You will be asked to provide a credit card for the winter payment of $750 to complete registration. There is a $35 late fee for any registration received after November 25.

Need-based financial assistance is available:

Novice Registration

Novices who participated in one or both Fall Novice Sessions only need to complete Step 1 below. Novices completely new to the program in the Winter Session must complete all three steps. 

 

1. Complete the Online Registration Process:

 

Click here, expand the "Teams & Groups" section, click "join" for the appropriate session (Novice Boys or Girls), then follow the instructions to register. You will be asked to provide a credit card for the winter payment of $750 to complete registration. There is a $35 late fee for any registration received after November 25, 2019. 

Returning Novices do not need to
complete Step 2 and Step 3 below.

2. Join USRowing and complete the online US Rowing waiver:

 

B-CC Crew is a nationally ranked scholastic program and member organization of USRowing. All novice and varsity team members are also required to be individual members of USRowing and e-sign a liability waiver in order to compete in our program.

 

Please go to https://membership.usrowing.org/  and click on “Join” in the “Individuals” section. Next, enter your athlete’s information (last name, birth-date, etc.), type “B-CC” for the team name, and then continue. At the next page, make sure you choose the Championship membership level, and then follow the remaining steps. Please save the email confirmation you receive and make a note of your child’s USRowing membership number for future renewals and waivers.

3. Download and complete the Novice Packet.

To begin practices, new athletes must complete all steps above and, if they did not sell wreaths and candles by November 20, make a payment of $350 to fulfill their fundraising commitment for the season. Checks should be made out to B-CC Crew Boosters, Inc., and provided to Fundraising Coordinator Elizabeth Waters or Administrator Liz Wilcox by December 1. There will be no exceptions. Swim Tests:  


Lifeguards at the Wilson Aquatic Center, Takoma Aquatic Center, or Kennedy Shriver Aquatic Center do swim tests.
