Coach Dan Engler Awarded 2017 All-Met Coach of the Year by Washington Post

July 9, 2017

Each year the Washington Post honors the area's top high school athletes.  Since 2001, B-CC Crew athletes have been awarded this distinct honor and this year is no exception.

In addition to honoring the athletes, the Post also recognizes coach of the year.  This year's honor in boy's rowing fell to B-CC's own Head Coach, Dan Engler.

The B-CC rowers making this year's Washington Post All-Met first boat are:

Boys:  Henry Bellew (Rising Senior)

Girls:  Quinlyn Spellmeyer (Graduating Senior)

Also awarded honorable mention were boys rower Sean McNeely and and girls rowers Kelsey Chan and Claire Holmvik.  All 3 are graduating seniors and will be missed.

Congratulations to all.
